I took a class on this block the other day & this is what I came up with. This is just the top so far. I still have to add a border and get it quilted. Any suggestions on the border? Thanks, Sharon

I like this pattern....and the colors are great together. I would go with maybe black and white check border with red binding.

A great pattern! I'd go with a black and white checkerboard with red binding. Or piano keys would be nice too. :D :D

That is really eye-catching! I always have trouble deciding on borders too; seems I get the top made then get stuck on the borders. So I'll be no help here...

I think it looks great just like it is. I would probably not add a border, just red binding.

Love red, white and black. Great looking quilt. Like the idea of a piano key border.

Love the quilt top. I'd use some of the red to make about a 3" border and then bind in black/white.... :D

I'd do a 3/4 or 1 inch red border and a larger (maybe 2-3 inch) black border. I think that would frame it really well and make the red pop.

It looks great!! Can't wait to see what you choose to do for the border! :)

Unless you want it bigger, I like it without a border! It looks great. Otherwise, I agree with the person (sorry, who said it first?) that suggested a piano key border. It would look great in strips of red, white and black!
