Nice job....the green is fine since it matches the flower stems

I like it a lot. You can tone down the green with some darker applique, maybe a vine and leaves. The inlaid flowers are a great touch - sometimes watercolors can get a bit bland.

I Like the green. You have a lot of green in the squares. brings it all together.
BUT if you dont like it take a very dark blue or black piece of fabric and clip it on about midway and leave the room for a bit then come back and see how that does.
I use black mats around my busy bright pictures to focus your eye on the picture.

I like the green. If you went darker you would lose your thin border.

Quilt is gorgeous. The green is fine, but I think I'd like it better with blue.

Looks great! my suggestion for the border would be a very small cream with a black outer border such as a crackle pattern or something very unassuming but not a flat back.

I think you could keep the green but make it a narrow border also followed by a wider darker border. Okay that's my 2 cents worth. I like the watercolor look with the flowers on top. Great job.

Lovely watercolour, was it a kit? I am waiting for the post to bring one for me for my other GD.
