I love the faux leather. Is it difficult to sew? I have a bunch of leather and faux leather large swatches I got from my Interior Design jobs over the years. Maybe I could use those. Wasn't sure why I was collecting them; now maybe I do. What is the largest piece of leather needed?

I went shopping for faux leather a couple days ago because I had the same thing in mind [great minds do think alike]I didn't find what I was looking for but still have a number of fabric stores to check out when I am feeling better.
You done a very nice job on your first one. I totally agree with you that some small changes need to be made to the pattern to work better.

Lengthen your stitch slightly and sew slowly.
