I am really new to quilting and deciding what pattern to quilt is hard for me. I got "Machine Freehand Patterns" by Nan Moore. It has helped a lot. I don't try to do anything except meandering without drawing the design on.

The borders have a clover design and the middle has leaves, flowers and butterflies.

The bears are made from Connecting Threads Mirage fabric. It was on sale for about $3.00 a yard. The dark colors of Mirage have kind of a velvet look, I think.

That is so sweet...and I've thought of using a sheet, too. How was that with sewing it? Also, what's the name of the pattern & where did you get it?

I quilted this on my Juki mid-arm machine on a Grace Pinnacle frame (only my 3rd quilt). The sheet sewed just fine. I get the twin flat size at WalMart for $5. Of course, I was them and press them. I can get a crib quilt back and also then make a crib sheet from one twin sheet. I bought a crib sheet so I'd have a pattern.

You can get the pattern at: http://www.javahousequilts.com/
