The DD of a woman I work with was surprised one day when her DD came for lunch and told mom they had just gotten married. (blyfriend was there too)

Since there was no dress, no, pictures, no anything I decide that they should at least have a cake.
Below is the result.....they loved it and so did Mom

    Love the cake quilt!!!

I would be rather upset at my DD if she did that to us.

Thank you all. I wish I was better a fmq as I would have loved to do little hearts all around the cake,

Her mom was a little shocked since they were just supposed to get their license that day.

This is better than an edible cake because it will last...it is beautiful. I love the pearls and their names and the flowers. Such a good job and a good deed.

This is darling! I love the flowers and beads. It really looks like a cake!

My sister did the same thing. She went and got married one day and then told all of us an hour or two later.
