    A Wedding Gift

My cousin's youngest child is getting married in October. I made this for her and her husband-to-be as a wedding gift. I originally was going to make an Irish Chain but my love of neutral colors got the better of me and I decided to make 9 patches with the dark brown center instead. The front and the back. It's 60" x 70".

Front and back are equally lovely. I too really like the modern look it took on with your choice of colors and placement. You updated the humble 9P quite admirably.

I so wish someone had made us a quilt as a wedding gift. Beautiful work!

I like that a lot. I did a neutrals quilt and loved it. I keep thinking I should do another but don't want to do the same pattern again. I really like the pattern you chose!

I am impressed with the simplicity of your quilt. No fancy any thing, but the result is warm and welcoming. I also admire your ability to get a quilt for an October event finished in April! Congratulations on a beautiful piece.
