Wedding Photo Quilt
#30
Thank you all for you compliments. Because I just do cakes as a hobby and not very often, they took a lot of time and work, but I enjoyed every minute. I told the bride and grooom that, even though they are not professional quality, they we made with LOVE! They were both very happy and that's what matters.
I originally planned and designed the quilt with the intent of having the family and wedding party sign it in the white spaces around the photos. However, once the quilt was complete, the couple decided they really didn't want anyone to write on it which was fine with me. I told them that once I finished the quilt and gave it to them, it was 100% theirs to do with what they wanted.
They are decorating their kitchen and living room in red, black and white and plan to hang the quilt in the living room. They were both thrilled with it which was my main goal.
Now I need to get busy making them some throw pillows for their bedroom. I hope to have them all done before they get back from their honeymoon.
