Default A weekend with my new Accuquilt Go Big

Here is a top using a smidgen of my scraps. The Go Big came with a flying geese cutter so 288 geese later this is what happened! The block is a dutchmans puzzle.
The sashing has a little scissors motif so I am calling this one "I Will Cut You".

Fabulous quilt! I love your blocks. That was one of the first blocks we made in a sampler class with AQ. Fun stuff!

I want to know more about your quilt hanger system holding the quilt. Did you make it?

Thanks, Rhonda. This marvelous swing board came out of a fabric shop that closed many years ago and they sold off all the fixtures. It held samples of wedding lace. It has five panels and made of heavy steel and attached to the wall with carriage bolts. My entire sewing room set up came from that store. Fabric shelves, cutting table, and pressing table are all repurposed from the store and I really like that their usefulness continues.

A very nice quilt and I like how the sashing kind of melts into the background.

Wonderful quilt...what a purposeful way to use up your scraps. I’ll bet you’re loving your new AQ cutter... I purchased a barely used Go Me but need to see what dies fit it. really like how your FG quilt came together.

Beautiful quilt and I love your design wall. I made a flying geese using the big six inch geese die using only shades of brown and shades of blue. I won 2nd place at the local quilt show, the judge admitted to the guild president she didn't like blue and brown but liked the layout. The 1st place went to a floral theme quilt which was a very pretty quilt. If we ever had another show and the same judge I'm making a floral flying geese quilt. LOL
