ozarkgal: Only had a few days to get this done for a (short notice) baby shower and had to use what I had recently purchased, which was only2 yds that I could use for the backing, thus had to limit the width of the quilt to the wof of the backing. Decided on a narrow border to make it 42"wide in lieu of 36 that the blocks equaled. It would have looked nicer if it were machine quilted, but had other things to do so had to limit it to being tied with dk blue crochet thread. Mother-to-be was happy with it as is and that's all that matters.

Like I said, I think it's a great looking quilt, and you should be proud.
