Henry, what a fabulous buy! Love how it's coming along...everyone has had some fantastic suggestions. You could stitch in a few seed beads to give a little extra dimension, and maybe some highlights with metallic thread. Anyway, whatever you do it will be just beautiful.

About framing...try, if you can, to get it professionally done, by someone who will take care to do it properly (acid free mats, not putting the glass too close, not using staples etc. etc.). After all, you are putting such a lot of time and artistry into the project.

Can't wait to see more pics.

That place had some amazing finds. I am going to go back after the holiday and see what else I can find.
