    Default What could this be….

I started with a 6.5 in Star then added around to finish as 12.5 inches. It looks too big for a potholder(?) to me and that’s what I wanted it to be so… what could it be used for? A candle mat? I don’t know…have I just wasted my afternoon?…

How about a small Christmas wall hanging? It's so pretty and festive.

Lovely and certainly not a waste! Candle mat, snack mat to put a cup of coffee and cookies on, frame it and hang it, get a mini hanger for it.

It would make a great mini topper as it is--maybe for on the bathroom vanity? You could also stitch the adjoining sides together at the corners to create an open box or tray like these

I vote for the box like tray that SueZQ from MN suggested. Fill it with pine cones and mini ball ornaments!

Wall hanging in a space that needs a little something. Or do you have a friend at a nursing home or assisted living that this could be hung on the door to their room/apartment? Take it now and spend a little time with that person. They will enjoy both the gift and your visit.

Place it next to microwave for hot dishes to land upon. It's pretty.

Extend it just a bit and it could be a doll blanket? Maybe for a special littler person and his or her doll or stuffed toy buddy?

Like Bearisgray, I would use it on the table for hot dishes. Very cute by the way with your fussy cut tree.
