What to do with an old pair of Bib Overall Shorts....

I found this idea in a book, so can not take all the credit but I did change it up to work with the Bib Overalls that I had. Hope you all like it.

By the way, the front of the Bib Overalls will be another apron, once I get that finished. Once done, I will have about a hand full of scraps of jeans left over and one button that will not be used. There was one button already missing so that worked in my favor. I reused all the other "hardware" on the bibs so no other waist.

    Very cute!!!
I have used old jeans to make purses, and cut the pockets off unsalvageable jeans ( AKA worn to shreds), added a twine cord, and used them as wall pockets for mini silk flowers, but I never used them for an apron.......yet!!
Thanks for sharing your neat project!

This is where I got the one I started with. I also have a full Overall version that I want to make. You add fabric inbetween the legs to fill in the gap and then it becomes a longer version of the one above. Kind of need how it turned out.

Such a great "re-purposing", and so unique I bet everyone who sees it will want one. Good job!

I bought the baby to toddler ones and sew them across the bottom took them to work for my residents wheelchairs to put their stuff in them, that is a cute idea for an apron, I'll have to try that with the smaller ones for the grandkids

A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.
