Recently I attended a Fall Festival in my neck of the woods! LOL! Well there was a lady would was selling primitive stuff along with crafts she had made. She took Christmas lights or twine and tied strips of fabric on it to make a garland! I thought hum that seems simple enough that I could do it. So I went to my local Walmart (which sells some fabric) to buy some Halloween fabric to make one for my mini tree in my living room. I think it turned out great! :) I got yard total of fabric. So I'm wanting to make one for my Christmas tree next!

It's soooo simple! I forgot to mention I bought I role of twine for like $4 and the fabric was $4. So it's really cheap too! The lady was selling like a 20ft garland for $25!

Now you did it! I have to go get some lights and fabric. I knew I shouldn't have opened this up today. LOL. Love the purse.

LOL! Thanks! :) I used twine though! Cause I thought well what happens when the lights go out? With the twine you wouldn't have to worry about it!

i have made a fall colored garland out of wines, greens, burnt rusts, ect which I use as a valance of sorts on my french doors, all year round. I wrap the garland around the wooden / decorative curtain rod loosely.. it doesnt hinder seeing the wildlife that come into our back property , yet gives us some color in that kitchen, where the walls are a deep wine color with tan/white cupboards/ trim.. thanks for giving me more ideas to use for the holidays in my home..
