I love the blocks and the color. Nice way to "fix" the block size. It looks so beautiful I wouldn't tell anyone I had to adjust the size.

Your coping strips actually enhanced your quilt!! I love how adding more white just opened up the quilt. The extra white also seemed to "float" your blocks. I have thought of doing the same in a situation where my blocks were "off" but never dreamed it would turn out as well. Thank you for sharing and kudos for the marvelous job you did on this spectacular quilt!!

What a great tip! I recently received blocks from a swap and some were just a bit small so this idea is a perfect solution to my problem. I love the way you set them. It turned out gorgeous! :D

hi Yvonne,
great idea for solving that problem, I'm attempting something similar for a t-shirt quilt. did you add coping strips opposite each other (ie top and bottom) or adjacent (ie top and one side). thanks for your input.
