It's a darling quilt, and so special of you to share it! Sometimes a quilt just has to be made, and later we find out what it was intended for! That's happened for a few of mine, too.

Cute doggie quilt or wall hanging. Like the ears. I made a bunny quilt one time for a granddaughter with the bunny ears flopping loose.
