I agree with comments about the tan solids. Might try scattering more to balance the solids or remove them totally. Believe you will live it more. I am sure you Dad will love these beautiful plaids.

Has anyone ever done a D9P in Batik? I have some batik fabric and wanted to see what it would look like to do the D9P. Possibly for a baby Quilt..?
