I know lots of people love these ladies, but they are just too cartoonish for me. I don't like cartoonish cats either, and I always love cats. Maxine isn't one of my faves either. Just a difference in tastes.

Okay....call me weird. But, I don't like that at all. I love the water - my backyard is a 66,000 acre lake and anything pertaining to beach/water is my thing. But those ladies are "ugly". Okay....yell at me

I am working on a Beach Babes quilt for my sister-in-law! They are similar to yours, even have the matching fabric for the back! I LOVE them! I will have to check out the new ones, too!
