I'm making my pincushions for the coming months, Dotty (dotcomdtcm) took and posted pics for me under the pincushion swap if anyone wants to go see.

I'd love to see the wool quilt--I think my after-Christmas present to myself will be making one. I've got some fabric and have been itching (sorry for the pun!) to start, but I've still got gifts to make.

I'm working on a lavender and sage green baby quilt, and making a blackberry pie with berries from my uncle's garden (from my aunt's freezer!)

I finished the tops on two Doll quilts for twin girls. Next weekend I will sandwich their quilts and doll quils. Then comes the quilting. Hope to have done by Christmas

No sewing for me this weekend,( sniff, sniff), I did defrost my freezer( it's been 15 -20 years!) and I am inordinately happy about it ( cheap thrill?). I emptied all into coolers then placed the bottom basket/drawer lengthwise into a big black trash bag tied and adjusted just right and put the drawer back into place then went to bed, saying a little prayer that my laundry room would not be flooded in the morning. It worked! I had "black bottom pool" that my strong DH was able to lift and pour into the nearby washing machine! The towels I placed on the floor weren't even needed! Wiped the freezer down and re-filled it in an hour! It is so pretty and organized! I made pies and froze them for the holidays! Did you know that Marie Callendar's / Bakers Square pie tins fit into the Food Saver vacuum bags?! This happy girl gets to sew all day today!
