What fun! My finished One Block Wonder

Here is a pic of my completed OBW. I really enjoyed making this quilt. It was my first project sewn on my 1951 Featherweight. I loved the autumn colors and the backing is a pretty small floral flannel that I loved the minute I saw it. I am sitting here wrapped in my quilt as I am typing this . Anyone thinking of doing a OBW, should try it, lots of fun.

I think she may have uploaded it with her iPad. They do funny things to pictures.

I used Maxine Rosenthal's book, "One Block Wonder", was able to check out at local library. Here is the original fabric, my hand is in picture for perspective of size of print. Name: DSC04773.JPG

Beautiful quilt. I haven't attempted this one yet. I've made a kalidscope,( not sure that is spelled correct) and a 4-patch posey. have fabric to make one but it is scary for me.

OBW are fun and always a surprise. It would be fun to see what the original fabric looked like. Enjoy especially now that it is getting cooler.

The fabric is beautiful. I would never have recognized it as the OBW. GREAT job!
