My son asked me to make two baby quilts. One for good friends of his and one for his pastors baby due in April.

I used the same pattern but different material. I love how they look so different.

    Thanks for looking.

They are really gorgeous...It never ceases to amaze me how different the same pattern looks just by altering the fabric choices.

I love the owls - where did you get the fabric? Pattern? I am looking for ideas for a girl baby quilt - perhaps I found it. Thanks. Teresa

Love the owl quilt!!! So cute...

My daughter is using owls in her new babys room and we found a pattern at the Fat Quarter Shop. It is called Remember Whooo Loves You by the Acorn Quilt and Gift Company. It is a simple 9 patch with an owl sitting on a tree branch appliqued on it. It is so cute and once you start looking you find there are alot of owl fabrics out there. I will post once I get it finished! Better get started baby coming in June...

The pattern is called JUST DUCKY in the Quilter Magazine Sept 2007 . I bought the Owl fabric at Joannes.

I was raise in Northern CA, Marin Co, Novato. You are so lucky to be there. I miss it every day.

    Happy Quilting!!!!!!!!
