I am actually making the table topper for a lady that bought me the book. I make a quilt for "the Relay for Life" which is a organization that raises money for all types of cancer. I make the quilt as a donation and this year I suggested she buy me a book with a pattern she likes and I would make and donate the quilt. She bought me three books. So the table topper is a thank you gift for going above and beyond.

All the work will be worth it even if you can't use your hand afterwards.

It sure is a beauty.

What a darling quilt! I love snowflakes. I had misplaced my snowflake diamond earrings and just found them this week. Go figure! They were in my jewelry box. Anyway your friend will love her gift! It is just lovely...now go rest your sore hand! LOL
