    Thanks for all the nice comments. I will try to answer all questions here.

    No, I am not going to handquilt. I don't have the patience. I have a longarm machine.

    The one called Sunset is my name for it. Each block is just a four patch with sashing around it. The finished block size is 8".

    The green one is from a pattern named Picket Fence that was in Quiltmaker's All-Time Favorites - Spring '03. I don't have the pattern, just a picture. If you look at the close-up, each block is 3 strips. Each strip is two fabrics sewn diagonally. Then the blocks are set by alternating vertical and horizontal placements. Once I figured it out, the quilt went together pretty quickly.
