Very clever use of those embroidery designs! I have seen those and wondered what to do with them.

Your bargello is SOOO FAB!!! Girl I don't care how much trouble it was it was WORTH IT!!!!

thank yall very much for all the compliments. i had no idea the tablecloth would be so well liked. it's very easy to make. out of scraps and/or fat quarters. i'll attach a close up pic of one square. first of all, you cut about 200 or so 3-1/2" squares, sew 25 of them together for the center of each block. then cut two 12" squares, cut them on the diagonal and sew to each side of the squares, trim off what hangs over, then you can embroidery something on them or not - put them together with sashing and as you can see, i made the outer border out of the left over squares. if anybody wants to make one and doesn't have an embroidery machine, send your squares to me and i'll do the embroidery for you - no charge.

I like both of them but your Bargello is outstanding in color. I've only done Bargello in canvas work but hope to try it in quilting some day. With luck it will turn out as good as yours.
