What is more satisfying than finishing a quilt?

Beautiful quilt, congrats on getting it done. I finish one and start another. While I am sewing the binding to the back by hand I start planning the next one. About all I do in my spare time and some of my home chore time too. I think I am may have a problem. I am working on my 108th quilt now. 82nd since I started machine quilting 10 years ago. Plus 16 comforters and 10 biscuit quilts.
What is a biscuit quilt?

Thanks Lori. I had a different name in mind, but this one just seemed to fit. It is hand-quilted. I love machine quilting but as long as my hands still work, hand-quilting is it for me. I just love hand-quilting, on my lap, in a hoop, on the couch, while watching TV. It is akin to peace on earth.

Hey quiltlady--thanks for the kind words. You're right though--there really is something about that first washing. It was scary though. I bought the polka dot fabric from Walmart and it was obviously not as nice as some of the other fabric. (I couldn't resist it though.) I feared the dots would fade or the colors run. I was very lucky. I used a color-catcher, and it came out clean.

Thanks--I found that it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. They are out there though, so just be patient. Now that I'm finished, I'm sure I will find lots more yellows than I know what to do with. Ya know what is really hard--try to find yellow bath towels, yellow sheets, or yellow throw rugs. I am starting to think yellow has been banished from shelves or something.
