All beautiful! I dread the day I ever try and do circles...yikes, they look so hard! And my dd wants a funky quilt full of circles...I really don't think she'll ever get it:>) Grat job, all of you...and the 911 quilt is wonderfully detailed!

I think my lone star quilt in my avatar is the one I'm most prod of even tho there are mistakes on it and I machine quilted it and people ask me if I have a long arm and when I tell them no, they don't believe me. Well I do in a way,, one arm is longer that the other. LOL! But I also learn some thing new on the quilts Imake. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

My biggest fmq undertaking so far, a king size, free motion quilted without marking, on my Janome 6600. The reason I bought this machine, and so pleased I did.

i haven't made the one i'm most proud of yet. My grandmother on my mother's side died when my mom was 7 yrs old.(1944). My aunt gave me a bunch of diamond shapes that my grandmother cut out and she actually started a Tumbling Blocks quilt. (There was a small group of pieces sewn together.)

My problem w/ the Tumbling Blocks is that it doesn't show off all the diamond pieces that my grandmother cut out, and i found this as an inspiration picture..Carpenter's Wheel. I'm going to make it for my mom.

I'm going to have to look at the pieces, but i'm hoping to do the sashing in blues & whites. Blue is my mom's favorite color. I'll use the Tumbling Blocks that is already started as part of a block on the front or the label on the back.

I get goose bumps thinking of it!!! It's my next project after i finish my aunt's quilt

All are just stunning, and I think the one I am most proud of is the "next" one.
