I'm working on a wall hanging for my 12-year old GD who's birthday is 7/17. It will be approximately 16 x 24". This is what I have done so far.

Here we go. This is in progress. My second wonderful Pam Bono inspired quilt. It will be a wall hanging with three flowers.
I am going to change out the plaid, not happy with it. Her patterns are written for cutting an entire quilt so some calculations are needed to figure out one block. Once that is done they are so much fun to put together.

The planning:

The block:

Enjoy so much seeing all the great creativity going on!

Love Ohio Stars. I would imho, step back and look at this beauty the way it is now. I love love love it without sashing. The stars play so very nice as one complete unit. Stunning!
Whatever you choose, I want to see this when finished.

This is about 40% paper pieced (then there will be the black batik pieces that finish it out as a square). Will have 8 "shields," each with an "explosion" as 2 have here.
