Beautiful job! I think your nephew is going to just love it. Surgery of any kind is frightening especially to a kid. Your quilt will surely bring him comfort. Post a pic after its is quilted if you have time. I would love to see it.

The quilt is terrific! Love those shirting type fabrics with the red. I've made several "memory" quilts and pillows with shirts, and I am appreciating what others do along these lines.
