Well, I wanted to see how good tempered Sweetie was, so I decided to make a long awaited little cover for the neck pillow I use when my chair is fully reclined The centre of this section has one layere of poly batting behind it, but each end has nothing, and Sweetie meandered beautifully without any stabiliser behind

(No hiding place for meandering when you sew with a contrasting thread, is there?) The centre section has shapes (I think they are called ogee?) that I sewed using one of my new templates, and then I freemotioned some fantasy flowers in the middle areas, and some leaves on the outside The green is actually brighter than my pics, both were Star Cotton varigated thread from ebay.

The filling is a roll of left over fleece. I usually seam these together to make another backing for a Project Linus quilt, but on this occasion, I didn't have anything left to seam it with, so I rolled it and hand stitched the join, and the ends, to stop them working out one way or the other. Now I have a pretty neck roll rather than my very utilitarian one.

I was really pleased with Sweetie - now I can try a larger project sometime. I never considered her to be an embroidery machine when I bought her - now I have two for one!

    This is it, flat

Many apologies, Patti and board members, I posted this here by mistake. It should have gone on my PDA.

Patti, Sew glad to see this in its own special thread! It is lovely and I agree you should market the pattern! I followed the "birthing" of this topper! Lovely!

    It's beautiful!
Are you sure you don't have some sort of magic that helped you get that done so fast? It would have taken me weeks to make that!
    GREAT JOB!!!

Ok...so I designed it on EQ7 last Friday, ran to the LQS Sat. and got started last Sunday. I sewed the binding down this morning and got it in the mail...whew! Hope she likes it, I don't think I've ever finished a project so quickly
I think your runner is Beautiful, I love the design and colors!!!!
