    Default Whimsical Garden finally complete

I joined a BOM in January of 2012 to make this quilt. Finally I have it done and hanging on my wall. I didn't think I would ever finish it. It is my first needle turn appliqué quilt. Mostly it is done in 1930 reproduction fabrics. There is some wool on it. I have also embellished it with needs and buttons. Yoyos make up the circles in the border. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Absolutely beautiful! I can only imagine how many hours you invested in this quilt but the finished product was well worth in. Congratulations on your finish.

With all of the yo-yos, I think it is perfect. Not too much to take away from the pretty inside.

That is so so pretty. I was looking at each block seeing the buttons etc.

Beautiful quilt. Bet it took awhile for that one. Great job.
