My quilting motifs were inspired by Karen McTavish's "Elemental Quilting" book as well as her "Custom Curves" book. This quilt measures about 42 x 54 or so. First I drew out the designs on freezer paper, next I marked all the designs with a water soluble blue marker on the quilt top, then machine FMQ on my Juki TL98 Q (domestic type machine, not a long-arm). I used a thick, pure white poly batting and poly thread with a sheen to it for the quilting.
I still have to bind and block it, then I'll post some more pics of the completed quilt. :D
Enjoy!
