this is why I quilt ! photo

She loved it ! Look at that smile.. Yes, all panels - but Eric Carle has such beautiful fabric.. 6 books included in this.. She is a grade school teacher, room full of teachers familar with the books.. the room love it too !
size for Jr. Bed. all the shower stuff is what she needs now.. but this can be tummy time. wish i had measurements.. forgot to do that.. will have to ask her builder bob husband to measure ! :0)

Sometimes you just have to sit in a chair and jog in order to get anywhere.

That is adorable! I've done a few quilts using Eric Carle fabrics; mainly Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Yours is really cute. Thank you for sharing.

As an avid reader and a promoter of children's books, I find this to be the perfect child's quilt. Wonderful.

I love the Eric Carle and Bill Martin Jr. fabric. I too have made quilts using those fabrics and the recipients are always so happy to receive them. I usually give the accompanying book with them. I call them "literature" quilts.
