This was certainly a learning project. What did I learn? 1. if you are not sure if you like a pattern try a wall hanging first. 2. although I like the look of needle turn applique, I do not like making one. So I settled for machine appl 3. if you want to enlarge a 9 patch to a 12 patch, just make the vase taller. 4. I will not be making a quilt out of this pattern.

Well I think it looks pretty. So does that mean you are selling your pattern? If so I will buy it from you.

Thanks, It's not my pattern, the original is called Wild Roses, I just changed it a little to make a wallhanging.

Oh this is the pattern that a memeber was looking for!

Your wallhanging turned out beautiful. The pattern is also beautiful however I don't think it would be one I would ever do either! lol

Your block will make a great piece of wall art, your machine applique is very nice. Sometimes a small project is all you need to know if you like doing something. I have a few of those.

I hope you finish it. If you don't want it for yourself, you could always donate the finished product to a local fund raiser. It is way too lovely to sit in the UFO pile.
