Default Winter front door hanging

Though I only have 4 made, my goal is to always have a hanging on my front door that reflects the time of year.

You know how they say any quilt is beautifully made if seen by someone going by on a galloping horse? How about driving a car, with the windows up, 30 mph, paying close attention to the road with possible patches of ice?

I saw a paper piecing pattern, free on line called 'snowflake.' I thought prefect! I was so busy thinking how perfect it was that I didn't think about there being a possibility that the blue hadn't been preshrunk...enough. I think it needed going through the washer again, the 1/4 inch of blue seam ran into the white.

I'm glad it was just a door hanging.

Looks good to me. Do these door hangings hold up to the sun?

Even on the close up I didn't notice until you pointed it out. Great design and execution!

Oh it looks so nice hanging on your door and I am NOT on a galloping horse or in a car. You may still be able to fix that bleed. Try washing it with some blue dawn dish detergent and lots of water. It may just take the bleed out.
