    Default Pastel scrapy quilt

This quilt was made from scraps from 2 other quilts! This summer I decided that as each project was completed, the left over scraps had to be cut and organized. First I cut 5 " sqs(charms), then 2 1/2" strips(jelly rolls), then 2 1/2" sqs from smaller pieces. I also cut 1 1/2" strips or sqs for a postage stamp quilt. I love not having all those pieces scattered all over and it is so easy to start a scrap project.

I love how the use of florals, plaids, and tones on tones, all come together to make such a beautiful quilt. I want to do a quilt with plaids and this shows how they can work with other designs. And I love your organization of left overs. That I should be so organized. I am always just too anxious to get on to the next project. May have to slow down and try that. Great hint

What a lovely combination of fabrics. A real gem of a quilt.
