    These were in a quilting magazine? I love it! May I ask which issue it was in? Was it McCall's?

    Thanks for all of your kind compliments. The pattern was published in 2 parts in Quiltmaker magazine, Nov/Dec 2011 and Jan/Feb 2012. I modified the pattern to include the branch with leaves because I felt there was a big empty space in the middle that needed "something".
