The material is all scraps of floral material that I cut into strips. The binding is all "pieces" I had left that wouldn't fit anything bigger than a baby doll blanket and the batting were all the pieces left over from other projects.

This is a complete and total use of scraps! Not very square - not sure what happened after I put it together.

Its 50 x 48 in size....and yes my carpet still looks dirty (although since I sewed all day it probably is as dirty as it looks). I had fun doing this one - even though its not some great pattern or design - because I had to scrounge for the "parts" to get it finished!

My all time quilts are the scrappies. These remind me so much of the quilts that were made many years ago. Good job. I love it.

I'ts very cute...there's just something about scrappy quilts that is so endearing and comforting. These are the kind of quilts that drew me towards this craft.

Kinda has a contemporary Gee's Bend feel to it - so who knows - one day this may be a source of wonder. I think it is a great idea for using up your scraps. So - what are you going to do with it now? Bet a baby would love it with all the pretty colors and patterns.

I'm going to give it ot my step grandmother - she has a walker with a chair on it and she complaints that her legs get cold - its small enough to fold up and hang over the side but big enough to cover her from waist to feet.

Its hard to see the quilting aspect of it but it makes some of the flowers really stand out!
