I've been hearing about this project for a long time, but never really looked into it until recently. And since I really enjoy making charity quilts, I thought I'd put my effort to this one for a while.

As the first picture shows, all the pieces came pre-cut...just have to put it together. You have to provide your own batting and machine stitch it up real good, and then return it. They also encourage you to include additional quilts with it.

This is my first one with the project, and I plan to commit to make a few more with them before selecting a new charity.

So, I'm thinking...I've never done machine quilting before...if I change my foot and drop the dogs, I should be able to do it, right?

I've got some practice sandich quilts to try it with....wish me luck.

I loved doing the quilt that I got from them and also sent back one of my own, but I was floored when it cost me over $10 to send it back. Is there a better way to send it to them. I used the USPS. Would UPS be cheaper? Any info welcome.
