I've been working on this one for my daughter. She requested these colors because she wants a serene bedroom.

The blocks are 5 1/2" inches and I need 289 of them to finish it. Aqua is not a favorite of mine but I'm liking it ok. I like it well enough to finish it.

We call it Square in a Square or Diamond in a Square. I thought it was a good choice for her because she wanted it controlled scrappy, and because the triangles make a secondary pattern of Ohio Stars. My son in law is originally from Ohio.

Diamond is=n square

Thanks. And maybe I should have mentioned that I bought most of the fabrics at an online store for less than $4 a yard.

www.thousandsofbolts.com

No affiliation with them but I am a very happy and devoted customer. Their customer service is remarkable and their fabric is quilt shop quality.

The colors wouldn't have been my first choice, but they go well together. Very calming effect. Very nice!!
