OK, I posted a couple of nights ago about how much I am loving working on my first OBW..talking about obsession, lol. Here is what I have so far, I'll be adding a black border, I know it's a bit wild, I was aiming for it, I do like wild, lol, but is it too wild? Would you change anything?

I value your opinions and input, thanks in advance!

You are very AMBITIOUS! That is very pretty. I love the cubes in gold and red/blue. Not sure if that is gray on one top or if it an unfinished block? It stands out but maybe a bit much if its finished? (in my humble warped vision, she who can't see a thing without super duper magnifying glasses should not give advice). That is not a wild quilt at all. I would venture to guess the original fabric was a bunch more bold than that. Hey, post of pic of the before you whacked it and after!!

Leave it!!! It's great. It is wild, but still pleasing to look at. :)

I love the quilt - question - do you insert the cubes in the quilt or does that happen with the OBW - I think they look really cool.

WOW! I love it! Don't change a thing. I so want to try doing a OBW but I'm so intimidated by the fabric selecting process. After seeing yours though, I think I'm gonna' be braver next time I go to the fabric store. Great job!

All I see is a great quilt! I love how the blocks are not all centered and symmetrical. That will be a challenge for me when I get to do one.

OBW addict adding her 2 cents worth. I would loved to have seen the original fabric and the quilt without the blocks, the colors look stunning. Wild? Wild is in the eye of the beholder!! LOL If you like them, that is all that counts. I think they are great!!!

That is fantastic! How about making the border an attic window, or make top and left side thin and bottom and right side wide?

It's stunning. Unbelievable what blocks you got from the original fabric. I love the OBW I see on this board, yours included.
