Today I finished the two outside panels of the quilt. I'm tempted to paint the leaves on the B&W inside of the long panels just to break up so much B&W, lol, what do you all think?
I tried putting a windmill block in the middle but it just didn't work.
If I don't get another color for the center, what do you think of using 2 of the turquoise? I really don't want to do that, but without a 4th color.. well, I can always go a whole different direction too.. lol. Time to open the mind and let other ideas in. This is blocking my progress. LOL

I think it would detract if you used two of the turquoise. What about doing some kind of flying geese if you don't get a 4th color and then work in the green square block into the design somehow. Just an off-the-wall thought and trying to think out of the box. Do you know if there was a 4th colorway fabric...so you aren't tilting at windmills trying to find it?

I think it is so amazing how things work out. My sister called me on my cell a couple weeks ago and I happened to be at Joann's looking for Panda fabric. I mentioned this to her in passing as I was feeling so frustrated about not finding any. We continued our discussion on other issues and it left my mind that I had even mentioned it to her.
Today she called me again, and asked if I still needed panda fabric because she went to a yard sale and right on top of a table was panda fabric with red background! She bought the whole piece because she remembered me mentioning it to her. She is going to send it to me. Here I was fretting over another color.. and here she is in CA, remembering something I wouldn't even have mentioned to her had she not happened to call me just when I was at Joann's. Makes you believe in guardian angels, doesn't it? smilessssssss
