I'll be watching your progress pics - can't wait to see the final product.

Very beautiful!
If you go back to page 4, you will see the pressing down of Horse Parade. I have not sewn them down yet, but will be when I decided the final background colors. Also will post pictures of the quilting and ect, when I figure them out.

Here is the next step with the WIP Little Cowgirls.

We really had a time choosing between two of the backgrounds! I finally asked the twins and they had a hard time too, then of course one says "I know just make both" ((giggle giggle)). So you never know...
Anyways I just grabbed one and started pressing it on, but I do think their will be another with the sunset and sage brush coming soon too......

One thing I really liked about this batik is the Dark mountain look and wintery trees it holds in it's wake.....

Now off to start the quilting process.....

Chose to use the batik- Laying the silhoutte with steam a seam 2 down and pressing into postion

hand pressing and positioning the silhoute

I like how the fabric in the background looks like snowy mountains and trees

And some more postioning and hand pressing

Steam pressing the Silhoutte

and more ..Iron/steam pressing the silhoutte down

More pressing the silhoutte down...Now off to get the batting and backing and to start quilting......
