Sorry to say I didn't and can't take credit for the idea either. One of the ladies in our guild gave us pointers. Frankly, we started it last summer and if I had to do another, I would have to really stop and think about it; like how we cut out blocks..I am thinking something like 8.5. Sewed diagonally both ways (after drawing the lines), cut and then there were 4 little HST sections made. The tan sections were 8 inch squares. Sorry to be so vague. You can see why it is a wip. :-(

Thought I would show (bore) you with two more of my UFO's. One is a string quilt I am using up scraps with. I call it my spider web quilt. I may be about 1/4th done.
The other is another scrappy one made using the smallest crumbs. I think I use anything at least 1.5 inches and then just keep adding to it. Triangles that have been cut off corners are especially good. I call it my diamond scrappy. Will put some kind of solid sashing between blocks when I decide on a good color. These all will take me at least another year to finish.

"Im making one just like it but in pastels..!!!! lol.. Its super simple. Just HST's and sew.. I Saw in a pic and figured it out.. lol..-fidgety"
Please post yours on here if it is still a wip. Would love to compare. I am always amazed at how the same pattern done by two differnet folks looks so different.

Here is my WIP pinwheel quilt that I am trying to get finished hopefully by end of summer. Need about two more rows all around.

Very pretty and interesting! I like the scrappy one the best. Do I recognize any of the scraps? Surely not. What I sent you was so tiny! Great job on all!
