The president's quilt is striking. She will be pleased with it.

Love both of them but especially the President's quilt. Love the flower blocks.

Shielaquilts, The 'President's' Quilt is gorgeous. It's so colorful.
Thanks for sharing. Eiltcoq.

Wow, Wow, You do wonderful work. I love both. What pattern did you use for the President's quilt? I would love to do that.

The shop I'm using here charges $20 for the class and then charges by the size of the quilt instead of by the hour...they realize that some people are going to simply work more slowly. I actually don't know yet what their charges are. I'll find out tomorrow when I take the class. BTW, because they are limited in space, their class is limited to 3. Because my class has had to be rescheduled twice because of the instructor's illness, I think I'll be the only one.

Did I miss something? My impression was that the President's quilt was given to you by your guild members. Whatever, it is such a special quilt and I absolutely love it. If you were the recipient of it, you are indeed blessed.

My guild asked me what kind of blocks I liked and they went from there. I do think I remember seeing this pattern somewhere later but this was actually 11 years ago. Each block was done by a guild member and I have a sheet of paper with the blocks labelled by who did them.
