What a wonderful project. Since I started quilting I have prayed for the people that I am making the quilt for, even myself. The first time I realized I was doing this was for my SIL who died of ovarian cancer. How interesting to have your own bible study as you quilt. You are a good friend to give this beautiful quilt away. The anticipation of her reaction will be a gift to yourself over the next 4 months.

I'm having knee surgery next month and my friend is coming in from CA to help me. I think I will give her the quilt while she's here, both as an early Christmas gift and especially for helping me.

Make those 3 blocks now so they'll be ready to put into your designs for their graduation quilts. You're right. GKs grow up way too fast!

I love the concept of the pattern and they way you executed it. A beautiful, hopeful quilt. Please share your freinds reaction! I'm off to check out this pattern. It might be a fun project for my women's group at church!
