What a wonderful project. Since I started quilting I have prayed for the people that I am making the quilt for, even myself. The first time I realized I was doing this was for my SIL who died of ovarian cancer. How interesting to have your own bible study as you quilt. You are a good friend to give this beautiful quilt away. The anticipation of her reaction will be a gift to yourself over the next 4 months.

I'm having knee surgery next month and my friend is coming in from CA to help me. I think I will give her the quilt while she's here, both as an early Christmas gift and especially for helping me.

It is gorgeous!! The black/white really make the colors pop. I've seen these patterns. My DD named their 3 girls Naomi, Hannah & Sarah so I want to include that name block in their graduation quilt.. I just pray God gives me the body & mind to complete all!! They graduate in 2019, 2021 & 2023... Always heard "time flies as you get older"... Boy, does it ever!! DGKs just grow up way toooo fast...
