Women of Courage BOM and pillowshams

Here is my BOM - Women of Courage, and I made pillowshams to match. The fabric was somewhat difficult to work with as it frayed badly, and we were warned not to stitch pick, therefore I purchased lots of extra fabric, just in case. There were many smaller pieces in this quilt, but I was very pleased how it turned out.Name: P1000987 Quilt- King Size WOC quilt with Shams completed Jan 17 2014.JPG

You did a beautiful job. I know how much work this was because I helped someone piece theirs and that fabric was very frazzy! The pillow shams look lovely as well. Nice job.
Have a great day sewing and remember to "not sweat the small stuff"!!

It's beautiful. I'm not familiar with Women of Courage. What kind of fabric was used?

Your quilt looks so perfect for your bedroom! I am sure you planned it that way. But, I had to say that. LOL..
All that being said, The quilt is really wonderful and if it gave you trouble, it sure doesn't show it. Congrats on a beautiful finish.

Lovely quilt. The shams on the bed really complete the ensemble. The room looks wonderful with this warm, inviting quilt.
