Here are 2 pictures of a quilt I finished yesterday. Because of its size, I had to take it to the quilt shop this morning, and 2 of ladies held it up sideways so I could get pictures. This quilt is called Women of Influence and is a tribute to 12 ladies very involved in the Suffrage Movement. I wrote up a Word document telling who each block was named for and their contribution. I took this document to a tee shirt/sports shop and they transferred it to my fabric making it permanent. I don't think the quilt will ever be washed, but I wanted a permanent label with the tribute. I'm having the same kind of label made for my Across The Wide Missouri quilt also.

This quilt is fabulous. Wouldn't this be a great quilt to make with a daughter (maybe going off to college) to learn about the great women in history and to help impower them to be the best they can be. Your idea for the lable is teriffic.
    peace :)

Beautiful quilt. I like your idea for the label too. We are slowly loosing our knowledge of our country"s history.
