Boy, you are fast. I need to drive close to a hundred miles to gather enough for the quilt. Most of the ones I have seen in my area, I am not excited about. We aren't planning a rode trip in the near future so won't be able to collect from out of the area. Looks like I won't be participating in this one. Everyone participating have a fun journey.

Great quilt. You must have been very busy getting it finished. I have only collected one row so far. I haven't sewn any of it.

So glad you won! You did an awesome job. And you are right...a done quilt is so much better than a UFO! It's beautiful.

yes your rows are lovely, but i'm going to throw a monkey wrench in this. as a group here in alberta we decided that the concept of the competition should be more than putting 8 rows together, most of us can do that. they should be put together in a quilt with sashing and borders. it just seems that people are putting them together with no thought or effort just to collect a prize. i would rather make it with some continuity and pride to show the effort it took to collect them rather than just putting 8 rows together and calling it a quilt. i don't mean to offend anyone its just food for thought and to put another point of view out there.
