Years ago, I won a raffle at our church bazzar for two twin size quilts. It is cross stitched and hand quilted. I made the mistake of letting my son use one and it got ruined but I still have the other one. It's been in a zipped plastic bag and in my attic for years.
I don't have a need for it since we don't have twin size beds anymore. I'm thinking of selling it.

The back. Dh so kindly helped to keep the wind from blowing it. Toby had to see what he was doing, of course! :lol

Beautiful quilt, no clue on value, however, I would take the last pic, pull it into photoshop, write 'Merry Christmas' across the quilt and send it out for my christmas card. It's a hoot!

Don't you have any family members or friends that you can gift it to? Any weddings coming up?

I've seen them sell at the Amish quilt auctions for anywhere from $350 and up.

My heart skipped a beat here. I have this very quilt for a full. My grandmother ( I did a little cross stitch on the boarder) did this very style for my wedding 34 years ago, in blues.
Wonder if my kids sell what I have. really hoping not.

Really sucked in air on this one. We celebrate when we find things at auctions and estate sales. But I have her memory of love burned in my mind as she worked so very hard to finish before my wedding.

    Good luck with your venture.

OMG, if you had it appraised, I think you would find it would be valued way over $1000. I was shocked when one of mine came in at $1900 and one of our group raffle quilts was $2400.
