I adore this! DH just got me the Sue Spargo book for my b-day and a small set of 8 wt Eleganza threads. This looks like the perfect project to learn those fun stitches. I see bullion knots in this and all kinds of cool fun stitches. The Kaffe Fasset border sets it off wonderfully and your faboo quilting is the perfect finish for this cute, cute wallhanging.

Last February I took a hand quilting class with Sarah Feilke and I am about 3/4 of the way finished with my little project. So I am just learning.

Sue Spargo is what inspired me to start these type of projects. I have her stitching books.....but I actually like a different one better. It's by Judith Baker Montano and it's called Embroidery & Crazy quilt stitch tool. I seem to be able to follow the diagrams better and there are way more stitches.
