I grew up using homemade wool quilts....but they weren't pretty like this one! Your stitches look perfect!

I love your quilt! It just makes me want to cover up by a roaring fire! Question - did you felt all the wool prior to using it? Will you have to dry clean the quilt? I'm asking all this, as I've got drawers full of felted wool that I've been wanting to use and have hesitated because of the maintenance (dry cleaning?) issue. If its already felted, I ASSUME it could be machine washed??

What is the story behind all the wool? Such a variety! Love the scrappy look of the hearts and backgrounds.
